Lemon & Olive Oil Kale

MICROWAVE KALE OLIVE OIL & LEMON – SERVINGS: 2

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • Kale – 4 oz
  • Black Pepper, ground – 1/8 tsp
  • Olive Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced – 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon Zest  – 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 1/4 tsp

Adjust ingredients according to desired servings. Salt and pepper to taste.

MICROWAVE KALE OLIVE OIL & LEMON – STEPS:

  1. Mix ingredients in a bowl, open bag and pour the ingredients with the fish into the bag.
  2. Properly seal the bag “zipper”. Ensure it is tightly closed.
  3. Stand the filled bag on a microwavable plate and place in microwave.
  4. Average cooking time is 1 minute for a 1000w microwave.
  5. When done, remove the plate/bag using oven mitts. Let stand for 1 minute.  If not sufficiently cooked reseal the bag and continue cooking in 30 second increments.
  6. Carefully open the bag and place the kale on a plate using tongs.
  7. Pour any remaining seasonings and or liquid over the plated food.

IMPORTANT: Handle carefully: hot steam/liquid escapes from the bag.
